Agro Navigator RTK GPS Autosteer for Android and iOS

RTK GPS autosteer
on Android, iPad, and iPhone
Direct answer
What is the Agro Navigator autosteer app?
Agro Navigator is an early-access autosteer app and hardware system for Android, iPad, and iPhone. It provides native mobile field guidance and controls supported external steering hardware through an ECU; it is not a phone-only steering system. RTK corrections, a high-precision GNSS receiver, and compatible machine hardware are required for centimetre-level autosteer.
Mobile field cockpit
A real navigation screen for phone and tablet
Plan fields, monitor RTK status, record coverage, and control guidance from a native app designed around the machine operator. The same cockpit scales from iPad work sessions to quick iPhone checks in the cab.

Autosteer that lives in your pocket
Agro Navigator combines dedicated autosteer hardware with native Android and iOS apps, delivering affordable GNSS guidance for steer-ready tractors without a Windows PC in the cab.
RTK GPS Precision
Centimetre-level GNSS guidance for accurate autosteer passes. Supports RTK base stations, NTRIP correction services, and AgOpenGPS-compatible board communication where supported.
Native Android & iOS App
A native field cockpit for Android, iPad, and iPhone. Touch-first navigation, setup, calibration, diagnostics, and live machine status from a phone or tablet.
CAN Bus Autosteer
Direct CAN bus integration for steer-ready tractors. Precise motor and hydraulic valve control for autosteering and implement management, with real-time diagnostics.
4G Remote Monitoring
The optional Field Link 4G/LTE module adds connected telemetry for live machine status, remote diagnostics, and fleet management via an online dashboard.
Open Protocol Compatibility
Designed for interoperability with supported AgOpenGPS-compatible boards, RTK receivers, NTRIP services, and open protocol workflows while remaining an independent product.
Future-Ready Autonomy
Built toward autonomous agricultural workflows — predefined path driving, multi-vehicle coordination, and remote machine preparation. Subject to local regulations.
ECU product ladder
Start open, then build the field stack you need
The open-source ECU dev board starts at EUR 1,490 + VAT. Add steering I/O, 4G or LoRa, GNSS, RTK/NTRIP or L-band correction paths, IMU, Raspberry Pi or Jetson compute, cameras, LiDAR, and sealed enclosure options as your pilot grows.
Open dev board
Inspectable ECU base with CAN and UDP protocol paths, RJ45 cockpit link, field power input, diagnostics, and mobile app compatibility.
Machine interface
Select guidance only, steer-ready CAN, hydraulic valve and section I/O, or a retrofit steering motor path after machine fitment is confirmed.
AI and sensors
Scale into RTK/L-band corrections, GNSS, IMU, Raspberry Pi, USB Edge TPU, Jetson Orin or Thor, rugged cameras, thermal modules, and LiDAR.
Open, compatible, field-ready
Agro Navigator is not AgOpenGPS and is not affiliated with or endorsed by that project. AgOpenGPS remains a separate project under its own licenses; our compatibility claims are about interoperability with supported community boards, open protocol workflows, RTK receivers, and NTRIP correction services.

Connectivity

Up and running in minutes
No Windows PC. No complicated setup. Mount, connect, and steer.
Mount the hardware module
Install our hardware module on your steer-ready tractor. It connects over CAN bus for autosteering and hydraulic implement control.
Connect your mobile device
Use wired Ethernet through a USB-C or Lightning adapter where required, or the 4G hardware path for connected monitoring and telemetry.
Launch and autosteer
Open Agro Navigator on Android, iPad, or iPhone. Real-time field navigation and autosteer control are right at your fingertips.
Requirements
Agro Navigator runs as a native mobile cockpit for Android and iOS, replacing the traditional Windows-in-cab workflow with a clean phone and tablet experience.
Android or iOS field device
Runs natively on Android, iPad, and iPhone. Optimised for tablet-style cockpit use in the field.
Hardware module + network link
Use wired Ethernet through RJ45 on the open dev board, then add Field Link 4G/LTE or LoRa modules for telemetry and remote diagnostics.
RTK source + supported steering hardware
Designed for steer-ready tractors, RTK receivers, NTRIP network RTK, L-band correction-service paths, and compatible open protocol steering hardware.
Practical answers
Autosteer app questions
What is the Agro Navigator autosteer app?
Agro Navigator is an early-access mobile field cockpit and hardware system for Android, iPad, and iPhone. The app provides guidance, setup, diagnostics, and control for supported external steering hardware; it is not a phone-only autosteer system.
Can an iPhone or Android phone autosteer a tractor by itself?
No. The phone or tablet is the operator interface. Centimetre-level autosteer also requires a compatible high-precision GNSS receiver, correction data, an Agro Navigator ECU path, and supported steering hardware fitted to the machine.
Does Agro Navigator require a Windows PC in the cab?
No for the supported Agro Navigator workflow. The native mobile app is intended to replace the in-cab Windows interface, while the dedicated ECU, GNSS receiver, correction link, and machine steering components still do the hardware work.
Is Agro Navigator the Android or iOS version of AgOpenGPS?
No. Agro Navigator is an independent commercial product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AgOpenGPS. Compatibility refers only to tested interoperability with selected community boards and open protocol workflows.
Is the Agro Navigator app available now?
The Android and iOS apps plus the hardware stack are in field-ready development and available through early-access evaluation. Contact Agro Navigator with the tractor model and existing steering or GNSS equipment before planning a deployment.
How much does Agro Navigator hardware cost?
The open ECU development board starts at EUR 1,490 plus VAT. GNSS hardware, corrections, steering interfaces, installation, connectivity, and support are configured separately, so the final price depends on the machine and workflow.
